David Edwards
David Edwards graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2002, with a BA in Speech Communication. After graduation, David worked in the Pharmaceutical marketing industry as an inside sales consultant, while setting his sights toward entrepreneurship. In 2004, he resigned from his position to pursue a tech startup with a partner in the exploding interactive gaming space. Edwards successfully pioneered the first-ever global, interactive video game wagering service using original software technology. He successfully raised more than 1.2 million in capital to fund the build-out of the web-based platform. While heading the company, Edwards trained and oversaw more than 25 independent marketing representatives, in addition to forging sustainable business relationships with technology providers, online banking entities, attorneys and other strategic partners and affiliates. Edwards owned and operated his dotcom successfully for 6 years, until stepping down to pursue new ventures in the transportation industry, and most recently in event promotions. Amidst a diversified platform of ‘personal interest projects,’ many of which Edwards funds through his role as professional recruiter, he recently founded Silent Outings, a proprietary event promotions company targeting local franchises in the social event/nightlife space. Silent Outings became the first of its kind to offer an alternative to the “club” experience with customized “silent outings”, which showcase a who’s who list of local digital music talent, as well as a burgeoning clientele of socialites in the Philadelphia area. Silent outings has grown rapidly since 2015. Edwards handles most of the business development activities for the company.
With this being it’s 9th year of operation David and his team has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in every major city including the NBA, NBA G-league, MLB, and NHL to name a few. David has recently made the decision to leave corporate America and fully focus on event planning. Strategic Agency Group will be the event and marketing arm for all projects taking place in Delaware as well as the marketing arm of all the new brands in the Philadelphia market that are coming online this year which includes Rhythm & Beats and Homebase PA to name a few. With the current portfolio of entertainment brands under the direction of David and his team, SAG is primed to make an immediate impact in the community and give people in Delaware & Philadelphia something to look forward to every week.
